The two things you pay for
No subscription, no advance payment, no minimum. You are billed for the team you actually have and the texts you actually send — and if you send none and groom nothing in a quiet month, there is nothing to pay.
Your team
$10.00per team member, per month
Counted per person: every groomer on your team, plus any manager or admin who actually took a booking that month. Someone who both manages and grooms is one, not two.
Text messages
$0.015per message segment
Only the texts you choose to send — reminders, appointment updates and review requests. A segment is 160 characters, or 70 when the message isn't plain Latin, so a longer text counts as more than one.

What that looks like in practice
A two-groomer salon that sends about 200 message segments a month — say a mix of grooming-due reminders and day-before texts:

- 200 message segments × $0.015

- Total for the month
- $23.00
Send no texts that month and it would be $20.00. Add a third groomer and it goes up by $10.00.
Pricing questions
- Do I have to pay anything up front?
- No. There is no subscription, no advance payment and no minimum. You are billed after the fact for the team you had and the texts you sent, and no card is needed to set your salon up.
- Who counts as a team member?
- Every active groomer on your team, plus any manager or admin who actually took a booking that month. It is counted per person, so someone who both manages and grooms is one, not two. Deactivate somebody who leaves and they stop counting from the following month.
- What is a message segment?
- A text message is sent in segments of 160 characters — or 70 when the message contains non-Latin characters, which includes Georgian and Ukrainian. A short English reminder is one segment; the same message in Georgian is usually about three. You are billed per segment, so this is worth knowing rather than discovering on an invoice.
- Do I pay more for extra locations?
- No. There is no per-location charge — run one shop or a dozen under the same account. You only pay for people and messages, so a second branch costs whatever its team and texts cost.
- Are any features held back for a higher plan?
- No. There are no tiers. Online booking, the calendar, checkout and commissions, reports, reminders and reviews are all included at the same price.
- What if I send no texts at all?
- Then you pay nothing for texts. Every automated message is opt-in — you can run Argus without sending a single one and be billed only for your team.
