Built by groomers, for groomers
We run our own grooming salons, so we know how the day actually works.
We have run a grooming business since 2018 — a chain of several branches that we still run today. Argus grew out of that: the software we wanted for our own salons, built by the people using it.
Because we work in this business every day, Argus fits the way grooming really runs — pricing by the size of the dog, two groomers on one appointment, reminders that bring customers back, and commission worked out for you. If it doesn't help a real salon, it doesn't ship.
We keep improving it, we keep the pricing fair, and we listen to the salons that use it. If there's something you need, tell us.
Why we built it
For years we ran our salons on software made for hairdressers, or for nobody in particular. None of it understood that a groom is priced by the size of the dog, that a big coat is often two people's work, or that the customer who loves you still forgets to come back for ten weeks.
So we wrote down what a grooming day actually needs and built that: a calendar with a column per groomer, a price list organised by pet size, checkout that works out each groomer's commission, and reminders timed from the breed's own coat. See every feature in detail.
How we work
Argus is still being built, and quickly — improvements go out on most working days, and the changelog lists what has shipped. Nearly everything in it exists because a working salon asked for it, starting with our own.
We also say plainly what Argus does not do. It does not process card payments or take a cut of your revenue, and it has no bulk import of customers. We would rather you knew that before you sign up than found out after.
What it costs, and who to talk to
There is no subscription and nothing to pay up front. You pay for the team you actually have and the texts you actually send — the pricing page has the figures and a worked example.
A real person reads every message. If something is missing, unclear or broken, write to us and you will get a straight answer about whether we can do it and when.
