Branded online booking for pet groomers

Your own booking page that only ever offers times you can actually work.

A booking page that belongs to your salon

Your booking page carries your logo, your salon's name and your currency — not a marketplace's branding, and not a list of your competitors. Share one link, print the QR code from your settings page and stick it on the door, and customers book themselves in while you are mid-groom with both hands full.

It works on whatever they are holding. The date and time step becomes an app-like layout on a phone — a fixed date strip, scrolling times, a fixed summary at the bottom — and there is a light and dark theme.

Three steps, and no dead ends

The whole flow is branch, then pets and services, then a time. Nothing more.

  • Branch — searchable by name or address, shown beside a live map with pins that highlight as you hover. Skipped entirely if you only have one shop.
  • Pets & services — tick the pets coming in and choose a service for each, priced correctly for that pet's size.
  • Date & time — pick a groomer or leave it to you, then choose from real available times and add a note.

A customer can add a pet without leaving the page — name, breed, birthday, microchip and a photo — so a new client is never blocked halfway through. If they wander off and come back later, the half-finished booking is still there waiting.

Only times you can actually work

This is the part that decides whether online booking helps you or hurts you. Argus does not publish a generic grid of half-hours and hope. It starts from your opening hours for that weekday, intersects them with the shifts your groomers are actually rostered for, then subtracts blocked time and every existing appointment — including time where somebody is booked as an assistant on another dog.

It also respects who can do what. Only groomers linked to that branch and qualified for every service in the basket are considered. Times already gone today are removed using that branch's own timezone, not your laptop's.

  • Free time = opening hours ∩ rostered shifts − blocked time − existing bookings
  • Only groomers qualified for every selected service are offered
  • Two dogs can be groomed in parallel by two groomers when that is faster
  • Work is steered toward the least-busy groomer, so the day spreads evenly
  • The slot is re-checked as the booking is saved, so two customers can't take the same time

When a customer picks “Any groomer”, that is not just a shortcut for hiding names — it changes the scheduling. Argus tries to serve the pets at the same time by different groomers, matching each pet to somebody qualified and free, and falls back to one groomer doing them in sequence when that is the only way it fits. A family with two dogs gets out in half the time, and you get a fuller book.

The right price, for the right size, in their language

Because every pet knows its breed and therefore its size, the service list a customer sees is already filtered to what fits their dog. No “small dog full groom” booked for a Newfoundland. Prices shown include any shampoos or consumables attached to the service, so the total they see is the total they pay.

The whole portal — and your service, breed and category names — is available in 8 languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Ukrainian, Georgian. A customer's choice is remembered on their account, so they get their own language every time, whatever language your team works in.

After the booking: their bookings, and their verdict

Customers get a real account, not a one-way form. They can see every appointment they have ever had, filter to upcoming or past, copy the branch address, tap the phone number to call, and cancel their own booking up to a cutoff you set — 24 hours by default. That is the phone call you stop taking on a Sunday.

Once a visit is finished, Argus texts a short link asking them to rate it — the salon, the groomer, and whoever handled the counter. They can rate straight from the link without logging in, and each visit can only be rated once. You read and moderate the results from your dashboard.

Payment is taken in the salon, at the counter — the booking page is for booking, and it says so plainly to your customers.

Questions about branded online booking

Can customers book a time when nobody is available?
No. Argus works out free time from your opening hours and your groomers' actual shifts, then removes blocked time and everything already booked — including time where a groomer is assisting on someone else's dog. Only what is genuinely workable is offered, and the slot is re-checked at the moment of booking in case somebody else took it first.
Do my customers need to download an app or remember a password?
Neither. They enter their phone number, receive a code by text, and they are in. First-time customers just add their name. Their session stays signed in, so the next booking takes seconds.
Can I stop certain services being booked online?
Yes — every service has an online-booking switch. Things that need your judgement at the counter, like handling an aggressive dog or a heavy matted brush-out, can be kept out of the public page while staying available for walk-in sales.
What if a customer wants to cancel?
They can, from their own bookings list, up to a cutoff you choose (24 hours by default). After that the button disappears and they are asked to call you — and the rule is enforced on the server too, so it cannot be bypassed.
